On Tuesday WKU Football extended an offer to 2020 Blessed Trinity (GA.) standout receiver / corner, Quinton Reese. Proving that WKU Football is still heavily invested in the state of Georgia. Last season Reese’s team won the Georgia 6A State Football championship. Reese totaled 47 tackles and 5 Int’s in his junior season. (Offensive stats have yet to be found). After a long summer of workouts with NBA teams and on his own, Charles Bassey is officially back in Bowling Green. After missing the beginning of summer workouts Charles should be back for good and ready to form some chemistry with his new teammates. With the recent news of WKU Football W.R. Manny Allen entering the NCAA transfer portal, a hole is left at WR. In steps Dayton Wade, a 5’10 receiver from Atlanta, GA. Wade was ranked a 3 star WR by 247 Sports, totaling 1,113 yards his senior season leading Georgia’s 6A divison. Dyckman is a legendary street ball park in New York City in the Manhattan area. Basketball legends like Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Ron Artest, Kemba Walker, and Brandon Jennings have played at Dyckman since its opening in 1991. Zion is a top recruit in the 2021 class with offers from schools like Kansas, Auburn, LSU, Ohio State, and Michigan. Earlier this morning it was reported by Jack Weingarten of StockRisers.com that WKU hosted Eddie Lampkin on a official visit today in Bowling Green. Lampkin is a 3 star prospect rated by 247 sports and rivals.com. He holds offers from schools such as, Baylor, LSU, Missouri, and Georgetown. With each athlete only being allowed 5 official visits per NCAA guidelines it goes to show that WKU is high on Lampkins list. Here are some of his highlights from this past AAU season. FanDuel has came out with their early preseason win total projection for all power five and non power five schools. WKU is at (5) wins for next season which would be an improvement from a year ago and their (3-9) mark.If you were to find a league betting state (C’mon Kentucky) you would have to bet $114 dollars to win $100. If you were optimistic on WKU going bowling next season (6-6). If you were pessimistic and the team only winning 4 games you would need to only bet $102 to win 100 dollars. On Monday WKU Basketball extended an offer to 5 star prospect former Bowling Green Purple Zion Harmon. Harmon is ranked #19 overall in the country by 247 Sports and the #1 overall player in Kentucky in the 2021 class. Zion won a state championship with BGHS back in 2017 as an 8th grader starting on the varsity squad. He then transferred to Adair county for the 2018 season and then Marshall county for the 2019 season where he was deemed ineligible by the KHSAA. Click the picture below to read the full article.

Charles Bassey is on pace to set a scoring WKU record that not even Jim McDaniel’s or Courtney Lee accomplished through two seasons. Through Bassey’s freshmen season on the Hill he has totaled 495 points. He would need 555 points to break the 1,000 point barrier. It seems like every off season WKU Basketball hype is through the roof. This year I believe the hype is real.Next season WKU returns: 81% Scoring, 80% Rebounding, 82% Blocks, 52% Assists, 75% Steals, 79% 3’s Made and 75% Minutes Played. With WKU loosing some players via transfer including Jake Ohmer, Dalano Banton, Matthew Horton, and Lamonte Bearden who graduated. WKU gained some key pieces for next season as well. Friday afternoon former Georgia LB Jaden Hunter announced his decision to transfer to the Hill via his Twitter account. Credit this grab to WKU Head Coach Tyson Helton’s ties at Tennessee (Hunter was heavily recruited by Tennessee’s head recruiter). In the class of 2017 Hunter was listed as a 4 star prospect by 247 sports and the #137 overall prospect in the class (This would be WKU’s best ever).
